Our history
Siouta’s bakery is a family business which is active since 1979 in Xiropotamos, Drama, Greece. Through these decades the main concern of the Siouta’s family was the consistent quality of its products and pure raw materials.
Its unique creation, the “fiogaki” is made of handmade dough and lined with syrup.
This particular product can be tasted with vanilla or orange flavor, but also with milk chocolate.
Quality & traditional
Our final products are made in accordance with the applicable legislation related to food quality and safety which has been developed and implemented in our facilities (haccp).
“Fiogaki” are a sweet treat for every moment of the day. At breakfast, they accompany each type of drink and “arm” your body with the necessary energy. They can also be served in a brunch as a sweet dessert. It is a ideal snack to take at school, work or a day out.
They can take their place next to the salty treats in an afternoon call for tea and ” steal the show”, with nothing to envy from the other traditional sweets at a festive table. It maches harmonically and delightfully with pralines, ice cream or mastic and its flavor takes off when accompanies cream and jam with citrus aroma.

Scents of vanilla and orange were spread in the entire grandma’s bakery. The genuine and pure ingredients were fermented by experienced hands. Were baked, lined with syrup and sprinkled with sesame seeds…
The traditional recipe which is passing from generation to generation, the Drama’s “fiogaki” has captured smells that woke up memories from our childhood to all of us. Siouta’s bakery is creating and delivering great quality of products made from pure raw material and lots of love since 1979. Among them, “fiogaki” is the one that stands out and from day one became the favorite of all in our local community. Made from selected materials, they deserve the title of the traditional local product of the prefecture of Drama.
